As part of the deployment of the telemedicine solution in this region, part of the C3Medical Consulting team travelled to North Kazakhstan this week.

Despite the particularly difficult weather conditions (heavy snowfall, cold, ice) that the region has experienced, preventing isolated populations from travelling for several weeks, the demand for teleconsultations, particularly in general medicine (in health points without a doctor), ENT, endocrinology or cardiology, is increasing every day in each of the 16 medical facilities with a station since its official launch in early February 2024

  1. The analysis of the history and the ramp-up as part of the project monitoring, allowed us with the local teams to define precise actions to allow an even greater adoption of the solution: Proposal for the relocation of certain stations for better use
  2.  Optimization of the schedules of the different specialists according to demand
  3.  Adjustment of certain messages to target populations
  4. Alignment of the project team with the objectives for the coming months

The trip was also an opportunity to:

  1. Congratulate the stakeholders for their commitment and for the very positive initial results obtained
  2.  Measure the pride of medical and paramedical staff in the project
  3. Validate the appropriation of the tools and the satisfaction of patients and doctors following the use of the solution after an initial reaction of mistrust
  4. Appreciate how the implementation of such a project can help facilitate/streamline communications between health professionals on patient files

The improvement of climatic conditions, word of mouth, and the strengthening of local communication should promote a strong growth in the use of this innovative service for the country and the region in the coming weeks and its sustainability in the organization of care in the region.
