Objective
To check the proper functioning of the teleconsultation devices installed since January 2024 which improve access to care for the most isolated populations in North Kazakhstan.
During our visit, we held refresher sessions on good teleconsultation practices, with the aim of improving the quality of healthcare in the region.
In addition, we have exchanged with directors, doctors and nurses to identify any difficulties in using them in these isolated regions, sometimes located more than 300km from Petropavlosk, the regional capital.
Result
More than 20 additional doctors/nurses/technicians trained in teleconsultation solutions and more than 600 teleconsultations carried out since the beginning of the project.
