Launch of psychiatric clinics in Morocco

Feasibility study for the launch of a psychiatry activity in Morocco

The psychiatric sector in Morocco is in full development in the face of growing public health issues. The Ministry of Health is focusing on patient care.

In this context, C3Medical Consulting supported a group specializing in senior residencies to develop its activity in psychiatry in Morocco, in collaboration with local experts. The support included the preparation of documents, a market study, the identification of partners and the negotiation of the business model and business plan.

Context & challenges

The psychiatry sector is a rapidly developing sector in Morocco. Moroccans are increasingly suffering from the same ills as Europeans (depression, burn-out, addiction, eating disorders, impacts of social networks): psychiatry has become a public health problem.

The Ministry of Health considers the care of psychiatric patients to be a priority and is changing policies and reimbursements in this direction.

Project description

In this context, C3Medical Consulting wanted to position itself in order to respond to this public health challenge by supporting a group specializing in senior residences to develop its activity as an operator in the field of psychiatry in Morocco thanks to expert partners (experts in the creation of psychiatric care structures, psychiatric establishments already well established in Morocco).

Results

C3Medical Consulting therefore offered support to prepare the development of the group (presentation documents, market and competition study, regulations, identification of potential partners, organization of meetings with qualified partners) and accompanied the chosen partners in the negotiation, providing support in the definition of the business model and business plan.
